Overheard At Our House

The 3year old- "Look at the stupid cat. I'm gonna kick it in the nut sack!"

Me- "What? Hon. What did she just say?"

Hon- (laughing hysterically)"She said nut sack!"

Me- (trying to contain laughter so that 3year old isn't rewarded for the bad word) "sssshhhh! Where did she learn that?" (note hint of sarcasm)

Hon- "Not from me."

Me- "Ok. Keep telling yourself that."

This is why I'm afraid of having/raising kids! Your blogs seem to have perfect timing! I was talking about this exact topic with Green Fish on Sunday night. I worry that my entire life will be spent trying not to laugh at the crazy shit kids do, cause if you laugh, to them, it means its good and they'll keep doing it... I don't know how I'm not going to laugh.

presumably the child actually thinks the cat has a bag of almonds.

I blame "America's Funniest Home Videos".

It's all about getting hit in the nutsack.

The thing is, it would be just as funny if the kid said scrotum.

Kid--"Look mom, the dog is licking his scrotum."

Mom--"Don't say that dear, it's rude. He is just cleaning himself."

Kid--"Rude or not mom, that is one clean set of testicles. Now he's onto the perineum, neither here nor there in a sense. Get it mom, "taint" here nor there?

moxy- it's so hard not to laugh. Sometimes I wonder if we should even bother correcting her, cause even that is giving it attention.

jiggs- definately possible but like time travel highly improbable.

crashdummie- I think he's only starting to believe his power of influence....thank god it's usually positive!

cheezy- Let's blame Barnie and get him kicked off the air. Or maybe Boobah. Hate that show.

earl- so much violence, so little time.

liz- whatever do you mean (ahem...nutsack...who said that?)

fish-LMAO! you and moxy'll make the best parents! btw sometimes I think she is that smart!

madge- if that weren't enough, the other half thinks I should scrap book the moment!
